We are from Cincinnati, OH and grew up on LaRosa's Pizza. When we moved to Dayton we went through withdraws. We live not far from Englewood where there is a LaRosas. Our pizza from there was better than we remembered. We like ours well done and it was perfect. The employees are super friendly and the store is very clean. We will definitely return.
Me & my lady had a wonderful experience here. This place had great table service and it was very clean we had a great waiter as well his name was Cody very friendly excited to greet us and have great posture. The food was amazing, phenomenal and took little time to get to the table. We'll be eating there again.
This was my first experience at La Rosa's , and frankly, I was thinking "Here comes another typical mediocre pizza business, as if this area doesn't have enough, already.".. I'm usually wrong at 1st impressions, but not usually THIS wrong. This was the MOST enjoyable dining experience I've had in many moons. The facilities inside and out were immaculate. The portions were almost too big, and the flavor was spot on. Service was merely good, but given the quality of the food, the professional demeanor of the staff, and the atmosphere, lighting, and quiet 80's music, so what if you have to finish a short cold draft beer before the entree arrives. The chef obviously had seasonings completely mastered, as the subtle aroma inside and out of the building was mouth watering without being overwhelming. I'm going back again, and soon.
The two star is 4 excellent service by our lovely server. The food: onion soup came out cold. Sent it back & our lovely server attempted to remake herself which she should not have had to. It was 9pm and it was slow. Came out Luke warm. Very salty and dark which means it was old. The wings had good taste on the outside, however, not cooked to temp either. I was hungry so just ate it. Ordered a Gin & tonic and they used soda water. Had to send back and just ordered a beer. So dissatisfied as this was my first time eating in (had take out at Batavia location once). The food quality should always be good regardless of time of day. So sad. :(
Unreasonable waiting times and overworked waiters. Our waitress was very pleasant and helpful, she just had too many tables to attend to while still providing good service to all of them. We were seated immediately, waited at least 15 mins just to have drink orders. Then waited at least another hour to receive our food. I didn't get a refill on my drink till our food was served. I know this wasn't our waitress' fault. Management needs to get their act together and schedule appropriate labor.
